As we celebrate the 60th anniversary of Africa Day worldwide, the Africa Day Fête, Awards & Fundraising Reception will be held on Friday May 26, 2023 in Las Vegas, NV at 7pm at the Sahara Theater | Sahara Las Vegas. The fête and reception will include a program celebrating and welcoming diaspora communities of African descent residing in the Vegas valley, as well as diaspora and friends of Africa from across the country and the globe.
The Africa Day Fête, Awards & Fundraising Reception is an opportunity to recognize and thank our local diaspora, friends and partners, local and international supporters and many others in the great State of Nevada who have and continue to contribute, invest in and elevate the diaspora community...the Vegas way! We will dress up, dance, eat, mingle, be entertained, give away raffles, prizes and surprises!

Funds raised will go to support scholarship programs for immigrant children; health & wellness programs, financial literacy workshops, small business support & upskill programs; activities and programs to support and empower families, kids and the next generation; as well as seed money for an African community resource and cultural center.
